Custom Kiosks

Creating and developing truly unique and effective custom self-serve kiosk systems is one of our core competencies. We have extensive experience helping clients create self-serve systems specifically suited to their needs and desires. Whether the project is driven from a functionality perspective, an aesthetic requirement to enhance a brand, or both, we have the experience and skill set to accomplish the objective.

With our background and experience, we are able to work with numerous material types including metal, plastic, wood and composites. Possessing this capability, coupled with the ability to "think outside of the box," affords us great flexibility in design which allows us to not only create the solution your project needs, but at a reduced cost compared to firms that are not as flexible in their capabilities.

Our design and engineering team uses only the most current CAD modeling platforms. By using 3D modeling systems such as SolidWorks and Pro-E, we are able to create highly complex and unique designs that are accurate and production ready.

Custom Design Process

  • Determining Project Scope: The process will begin with an initial consultation to determine the scope of the project, which will be governed by our initial consultation document. Such items would include functionality requirements, aesthetic requirements and desires, budget requirements, installation concerns, and additional information that may help with design determination.

  • Component Spec and Evaluation: Based on the functionality requirements of the application, as determined in the previous step, specify components from our approved component list for evaluation. We will procure each component so that testing with the application software can be conducted to verify compatibility.

  • Initial Design Renderings and Review: Following approval of the component set, we will develop initial design renderings to determine correct component placement and to create the coverall aesthetic. This is an interactive process where our design/engineering team works closely with your design and project team members. Multiple creative options are presented that are consistently designed for manufacturability, and engineered for ease of service and peak reliability.

  • Mechanical Design, Review and Sign-off: Based on the approved initial design, we will complete set of mechanical drawings and computer generated renderings. A subsequent design review of the engineering drawings results in a checklist of changes. As needed, we will revise the drawings and generate revised renderings your feedback/approval. All modifications are closed to customer guidelines, resulting in a finalized and approved design.

  • Prototype Build: Once the final design and engineering drawings have been signed-off, we will commence with the prototype build. During this process, all parts will be carefully examined and test-fit to verify design and manufacturing accuracy. All changes will be documented and incorporated into a revised set of documents.

  • Deployment: Once the prototype has been evaluated, any/all required changes made and documented, the unit will be ready for production a d deployment. Each system, as with all of our products, will be manufactured in accordance with our strict quality standards to ensure that it conforms to the specifications.
